【翻译公司】仿词 nonce word
一种修辞方式，指为了表达上的需要，临时更换现成词语中的某个词或词素，造出的 新词语。仿词用得得当，可使语言生动形象、含蓄幽默，或具有讽刺色彩。英语仿词大体与汉语相当，定义为：“A nonce word is a word coined usually in imitation of the familiar word for a particular occasion and accepted into general usage.”。仿词有时可捉对翻译，如：1.I have no outlook，but an uplook rather.My place in society was at the bottom.（Jack London）我没有人生观，但可以说有一种向上爬观，我在社会中的地位是底层。2.有人说这是阴谋，我们说这是阳谋。Some people said this was covert scheme；we say it was an overt one.但是，由于文化差异以及构词、句法的不同，仿词多用各种变通的方法译出。如：1.He is still honey-moonish.他蜜月情意依旧。2.有些天天喊大众化的人，连三句老百姓的话都讲不来，可见他就没有下过决心跟老百姓学，实在他的意思仍是小众化。（毛泽东《反对党八股》）
